The Flight of the Dove: Peace & Light this Christmas

Tuesday 9th December, 630pm at LoLo House, Al Quoz

In this luminous Christmas gathering of art, music and poetry Rose Balston will trace the dove’s flight through history – from sacred messenger to universal symbol of peace. We will journey from the stillness of the Renaissance to the radiant modern visions of Picasso, Hilma af Klint, Manal Al Dowayan, Banksy and Yoko Ono, discovering how each artist reimagined the dove for their own age.

🎨Art – from the Renaissance through modernism to the contemporary world

🎶 Music – Carols by candlelight, choral music plus a very special performance by Royal Opera House soprano Melissa Alder. 


🍸 Festive Food & Drink – Canapés and seasonal mocktails served throughout the evening. (Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements. )


🌟 Atmosphere & Celebration – An evening of art, music and poetry where conversation and Christmas spirit combine in an intimate, private setting.
