Death and Transfiguration: The Art of Easter

Tuesday 15th April 2025, 630pm onwards 

Join Rose for an intimate evening event at LoLo House Al Quoz to celebrate the art of Easter.

This is a story that takes us from death to transfiguration, from despair to hope. Rose will explore the pathos and profundity of this story through High Renaissance masterpieces by Tintoretto, Raphael, Michelangelo and Titian. From the raw agony of Tintoretto’s unparalleled Crucifixion, to the intimate grief of Michelangelo’s globally acclaimed Pietà, and the radiant hope of Raphael’s The Ascension, this talk will unravel how the greatest artists of the era captured the essence of sacrifice, salvation, and divine mystery.  

Ticket price includes food and drinks by LoLo House – sustantial canapés (you will not need to eat before or after), mocktails and other drinks. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.

6.30pm Guests arrive for initial canapés and drinks 

7.15pm Easter cultural programme begins 

8.30pm Further drinks and canapés, through until whenever you want to leave! We have the venue to ourselves until 10pm.
