Rose holds an MA in Art History from Edinburgh University. In 2006 she spent six months in Spain learning the language in order to explore her love of Diego Velázquez. After her stint in Spain, Rose worked in Italy for Art History Abroad as a tutor, lecturing and guiding across this treasure-filled country.
In 2009 London’s epic art collections and cultural history lured Rose back to Britain where she founded Art History UK, now Artscapes. Artscapes is a boutique cultural tours company specialising in the history of art and architecture of London. With a brilliant team of art historians and guides, Artscapes designs bespoke London based tours for private clients, corporates and clubs, schools and universities. Rose is a Condé Nast Traveller’s London Art Expert.
Catherine Cator has managed Artscapes since 2015 when Rose moved to Dubai with her husband. In Dubai she delivers regular lecture series on the history of western art, as well as talks and tours on the emerging art scene in the Gulf and the amazing Louvre Abu Dhabi.
